Tim the Painter

Tim the Painter

A Poem by jesserose99
"

about my dad who passed

"

Tim was a painter

and a daddy to Jesse

he had big hands

his truck was all messy

he painted her life

with the love of a child

he taught her silence in the morning

his manner was mild

but the gentle are not of this earth for too long

his breathing was labored

his spirit moved on

she misses her daddy

but from here he's long gone

he beats in her heart forever in song

Beautiful piece. Great flow... Very emotional and it felt as if I knew this person that was your father. I am so sorry for your loss. He would be proud of this writing and honored that you chose him to write such marvelous poetry about.

Found here is a beautiful and heart touching tribute to your father. I am sure you have made him as proud of you as you appear to be of him. I loved this poem.
