Crucification of Jesus

I was thinking why Jesus withstand so much pain and beard the thorns crown and cross and got bolted to the wooden cross. Because he was giving eyes to blind and healed so many people from their sufferings. Why he was cheated by her own group of people.

If he could protect him, he would have not acted as if bearing pain but not feeling pain, then it would have shown him as someone who is suffering but no pain to bear. Did he bear patiently the pain only to give assurance to his believers that sufferings come to anybody and we need to sustain the pain, I am here was only to help you, not that I came here to get hurt or killed by you, and it was to his believers to get strength from his life and to non-believers that he can protect himself and not to killed by you but I am showing you are doing wrong and don’t harm any of my believers.

But I see now in few churches, they say Jesus suffered cross only to get rid of your suffering but I am not sure they are saying right, as far as my understanding, he was showing good path and helped people and few couldn’t withstand his popularity that people are becoming his followers and ended his life, there was Easter when he rose again only to tell there is no death to good.

Have you ever heard of a short story "I Have No Mouth But I Must Scream"? It's only about 20-ish pages, but, it's a good one. AM is a pretty unique villain, for the time.
