✨ Prose Version

Life wasn’t easy, but he taught me to find joy even in difficulty. On this journey, I learned that we don’t need to act smart�"we just need to release our pain, sometimes through humor. We walked a path few would dare to tread, facing countless hurdles. We discussed, we argued, and we found resolution.

When life threw us limes, we made lemonade. When stones came our way, we protected ourselves�"not by retaliation, but by ignoring them. When snakes were thrown, we turned them into animals of our own. When the hammer struck, we endured patiently until the blows stopped.

Even when life tried to break us apart, we held ourselves together with one heart. When our home and money were exploited, we showed our empty pockets with pride. When someone came at us with a sword, we held each other tightly and bore the pain together.

When we were crushed under someone’s feet, we said nothing�"and that silence taught them a lesson. When they tried to defile us, I stopped it with the power of my Almighty God. When we built our home and it trembled, we fortified its foundation and boundaries so no one could touch us again.

We passed the test. Even when my answer sheet was copied, I simply asked God, “Is it necessary to know who copied?” I gave my answers freely to everyone at that great Khumb Mela.

We were gifted with natural powers�"not just to teach and be patient, but to live fully. We don’t wait for death. We choose life. We live. We love life.

We Love Life

Have fun, he said, when life turns rough,
Laugh through pain�"sometimes laughter’s enough.

No need to act wise, just let it all vent,
Turn sorrow to humor, that’s how it’s meant.

We walked a road no soul would dare,
Faced the storms, breathed the heavy air.

We stumbled, we fought, then found our peace,
Each hurdle met with quiet release.

Thrown limes became sweet lemonade,
Stones ignored, no fear displayed.

Snakes hurled�"turned to beasts we tamed,
Hammers struck, but we remained.

Life tried to break us, tear us apart,
But we held strong, one beating heart.

They used our home, our wealth, our name,
We showed our pockets, felt no shame.

A sword was raised to make us fall,
We held each other,

If fear makes us to stop we taught ourselves we need to face fear that haunts us......
Life is with misery and also joy, if we stop because it makes us suffer, we need to see our inner self which gives every truth and way to path ahead..

This poem in particular is extremely relatable to me. I am a newlywed myself, only married 3 months, but everything here I completely understand. I come from a very intense home, with a borderline mother who is convinced that she is always right and rules with anger even when she doesnt mean to. When I got married, I sort of sat there and felt odd, because I wasnt used to peace. I wasnt used to an entity who wanted to roll with the punches rather than survive them. Our entire honeymoon, I was checking my phone over and over again, as I used to do when I was with my mother, because I was anxious about not paying attention to life back home. It took my husband hiding my phone from me to really start me on the journey of finding peace with my partner.

Your husband sounds like a good man. I pray you two remain a united front, as you have so eloquently described here.

it is sometimes difficult to lead life as it is, sometimes we make fun out of it, sometimes we lead with patience. Its an art to live,where we make our path but art is not that shows harm to others...
