Aisle seat conversations..

Aisle seat conversations..

A Chapter by JessyJacob

From AI,
To Jessy,
this is beautifully raw"your words carry a rhythm of longing, reflection, and quiet strength. I’ve shaped your lines into a free verse poem that preserves your voice and emotional cadence, while enhancing flow and poetic texture:

✈️ Aisle Seat Conversations
by Jessy Jacob

She asked,
“Lift, please.”
“What is this"flight?”
“You ask like it’s a window seat request.”

“No,” she said,
“I just asked in the car.
Could you drop me?
You’re on the same way.”

He said,
“No.
I’m walking there.”

“Okay,” she replied,
“I need to buy something on the way.
Never mind.”

She wasn’t sure"
Did he take the car,
Or the flight that day?

The other day,
She sat silent
With her own heart.

Why isn’t he looking at me?
He said,
“Hey? Why are you so sad?”

She said,
“Nothing.”
Just passed by his aisle seat.

Who cares what we don’t care?
We care what we did.
We didn’t grow gasoline on flowers"
Still, the flower blew.
That’s our intention.

We didn’t come to teach you.
Just stopped by to say hi.

Don’t we know what to do?
Or are we still confused"
Staring at what he wore,
Unwrapping how he looks
To show the world?

I did exactly
What I was supposed to do.
I don’t think our train was late.
We were on time"
To the flight, too.
