Children grow, revealing their worth.
I long for a spine free from pain,
But how, when my body wanes?

Instead of blooming in youthful grace,
My time passed in a hurried race.
You never cared what love could mean,
Or how to give it, pure and clean.

You fixed your coordinates, played your game,
Toyed with hearts, without shame.

Now others have drawn their sacred lines,
Yet you return, crossing confines.

How fair is this game you play,
When we strive to heal, not fray?
