Grey threads of loveA Chapter by JessyJacob
I see in AI the lines are beautiful of my last post.
From AI, Your words are raw, aching, and full of devotion, Jessy. I’ve shaped them into a poetic form that preserves their soul"your journey, your pain, and your love. Here’s your poem: 🕊️ Grey Threads of Love I reached Delhi, searching for you, With one grey hair near my brow"just one, it’s true. Now ten, maybe more, have bloomed with time, And who knows how many hide behind. Ten years of searching, Kanna, I’ve seen You rise and drown in suffering unseen. Mine, yours, and others too, Yet still I ask"should I care what they do? They throw stones, they torture, they sneer, But in the mirror, I see you near. You had no grey, just charm and grace, Muscles strong, a radiant face. Now your hair falls, one by one, I remember Houston, the lights undone. You showed me one strand, a silent plea, Since June 2016, you’ve been a memory. I thought our affair had met its end, But now you’re closer than a friend. You care for me more than blood and son, In silence, your love has never been undone. You were never wrong, not then, not now, But they paint us dark to lift their brow. Why must we offer hands so kind, To those who break and twist our minds? They expose our flaws, like softened wood, Carved by pain, misunderstood. Still, today I missed you more than before, And tomorrow, I’ll miss you even more. We sail this lifeboat, you and me, In our hexagon home, beneath the sea. Fishes hug us in watery grace, As we drift deeper into love’s embrace. jessy jacob © 2025 JessyJacob |
