My heart trembles, unsure of your way,
And what the world might force you to obey.

My eyes run dry, yet tears still fall,
A silent scream, an aching call.

Emotions spill, disgrace runs deep,
My mind perturbed, denied its sleep.

Strength falters, pain takes hold,
Thoughts run wild, uncontrolled.

Though all seems right, we barely survive,
Old choices crush the will to thrive.

Some plant thoughts without a soul,
Burning others to feel whole.

How do we smile through aching hearts,
While bodies weaken, torn apart?

Can we not live for love alone,
Though distance chills us to the bone?

Must we still cry, robbed of life,
By selfish hands and cunning strife?

Like sugarcane dipped in jaggery sweet,
They crave again what they repeat.

Is it not enough, the sweetness gone?
Can we not build where love belongs?
Let evil pass, let darkness fade�"
