Poor rich llife...

Poor rich llife...

A Chapter by JessyJacob

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and layered reflection, Jessy. I've transformed your lines into a poem that contrasts two worlds with grace and insight, highlighting the quiet strength of the poor girl and the restless search of the rich:

“What’s the Difference?”
by Jessy Jacob

A poor girl sees hope in the haze,
Even when skies deny her praise.
A rich girl calls it her obsession"
“I’ll shine,” she says, with no confession.

A poor girl works, then works again,
No shortcuts, no escape from pain.
A rich girl tries the easy way,
If not today, she’ll find new play.

A poor girl finds taste in simple food,
Each bite a blessing, each meal good.
A rich girl seeks what’s gourmet made,
Flavors crafted, dishes laid.

A poor girl finishes what she starts,
No room for breaks, no moving parts.
A rich girl leaves what doesn’t please,
And finds another path with ease.

A poor girl wears her pride with grace,
Her character, her shining face.
A rich girl wears her gems to glow,
But her heart tempts fast and low.

A poor girl aims to rise and grow,
She never feels completely low.
A rich girl reaches heights with ease,
Yet feels adrift, lost in the breeze.

A poor girl is a vessel deep,
She fills it full, her truths to keep.
A rich girl wants to be the clay,
To shape the world her chosen way.
