PrivatisationA Chapter by JessyJacobIndia’s progress today is not driven primarily by government action, but by private companies and the forces of globalization that have opened the doors to foreign investment. The government has not taken drastic steps in development, though it has responded with military strength in times of conflict with Pakistan. It is private enterprise that has created opportunities. Software and technology companies provide well-paying jobs, while private buses and airlines flourish, even as public transport like railways and RTC buses remain largely unchanged from decades ago. At the same time, the rise of online businesses has brought both innovation and fraud, reminding us to be cautious in whom we trust. Entrepreneurs such as Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and many others are taking bold risks and shaping industries. Schools and colleges are expanding, building India’s manpower. Yet, there is a danger: if we abandon our rich heritage of Vedic knowledge, scientific pride, and cultural wisdom, we risk losing our identity and our place in the world. Globally, perceptions matter. If India is seen as dishonest or fraudulent, our reputation will collapse, leaving us without dignity or even a home to call our own. The world is watching, and decisions abroad"such as stricter immigration policies"remind us of the importance of integrity. India must awaken. With honesty in mind and body, we must work diligently and live with purpose. Only then can we secure our future and earn respect on the global stage. Jessy Jacob © 2025 JessyJacobReviews
