Reflections

A Poem by Jeyanthi
"

A prose poem... Ravin' ink prompt- reflection

"
The sounds of the seashell

speaking the ocean words.

The letters of cloudy sky

from moon to sun

sharing night and day.

The cry and smiles of baby

literally synonyms

every language.

The struggle inside the seeds

shading everyone it sees

as a tree.

The lovely colors layer

the petals of floral

attracts bees to pollinate.

The stamens and pistle

of the flower together

make tasty berries.

The rise and fall

flow of the river

catches by the ocean.

The nurturing earth

leaves plants trees greens

enhance the livelihood.

The fire and the flame

ignites inspiration

always ready to conquer.

The love of broken heart

sparkling in between

the many pieces.

The above lines were my favorite. I live in Michigan. My garden is resting in December and I am waiting for the days of Spring. We must know dead and we must know life. To appreciate what we have. Thank you dear poet for sharing the excellent poetry.

Interesting the way you worked in human emotion at the poem's end. Perhaps it is just as natural as the things mentioned in the preceding lines.

You're welcome. 🤗
Jeyanthi, your poem 'Reflections' is beautifully💕💕 woven together with rich imagery and thoughtful metaphors. Each line feels like a meditation on the interconnectedness of life, from the 🌊ocean to the flowers🌹, the seeds🌱 to the river. I especially loved the way you personify nature, making it feel alive and full of meaning. The final lines about the broken heart sparkling in between its pieces were particularly powerful—showing that even in pain, there’s light and resilience. ❤️Thank you for sharing such a reflective and inspiring piece!
