Cerebral Melange

Cerebral Melange

A Poem by jinjahman
"

A vision thereabouts

"

THE candle led the way

from dusk til dawn;

a merry wisp collapsed

by way of cerebral melange;

a freezer block.

~ ~ ~

A method unknown
asleep by the fires,
its invention licked,
I coughed and near woke but
stumbled onward;
akin to what I normally do
when I'm doing my hardest to
focus and pay attention - but to who?

A living, sleeping,
dying, peeping,
creeping, seeping wanderer..
through vein and stretch.
Carpe Diem brought up short
pillaged from startled utt-e-rance
with puss abounding from
the sores of bicycle chain heart.

~ ~ ~

THE oily thoughts crept out

By wooly jibe and strung-out tongue

Ripping at the seams;

The carrier traipsing 'til morn

carrying shaken stock in a golden bean.
