Brotherly love

Standing in self-hatred,

drowning in my tears.

Looking back on my life,

what I've been through the past 18 years.

Living in my brother's shadow,

everything I do & say,

wishing ..........

 

Now revenge,

now comes my wrath

I leave behind my hellish past.

Goodbye my brother, Our bond is lost,

If you had a soul, i'd nail it to my cross.

Good ol' envy, than wrath; I like it.

You do well describing a story here. It sums up the relationship the subject has with his brother without having to create a backstory. What do we know? The subject has a brother. The subject lives in his brothers shadow; we're left with a conclusion that states everything came to a head and revenge--wrath and goodbyes being said. It's enough to draw a conclusion with the reader using their imagination.

Yea, this was a result of a falling out I had with my older brother. Life experiences definitely give enthusiasm for writing.
