DespairA Poem by martinRFR
From the salty shore
I went far inland. And found so much bore In the nooks of northland. Jove is so unkind For the likes of me, For misfortune binds Like vine to a tree. Great folly it is Venture so far north, Have Medussa's kiss Or ill luck of sort. Now i dream to flee The glum hole i'm in. What a misery Currently i've been. Plunge in cold water If only i could. For it is better Than ways i would. Nothing else matters But be free from here, A place with a curse Of many a tear! © 2013 martinRFR |
