With paper and pen
I Place you where you should be,
An unquoted piece of poetry.
To show you a world
Where you’ll never fall down,
Because an angel like you
Should never touch ground.
I write to show you
what you’re really worth,
You’re like lightning hitting a tree,
A crevice splitting earth,
A powerful heart stopping beauty.
If you give me enough time
i could make you immortal,
A goddess in fact,
Even as i write
it’s difficult to keep my heart intact.
Because just like space,
You’re infinite to me,
my vocabulary’s not enough
to fully describe what i see.
Lousy compliments
and a pick up line or two,
To all those who say you’re pretty like a rose,
Well the roses wish they were you.
