Ive lost a lot of

People in my heart

Didn’t even know

You’d be part of them

Who like to leave me hanging.

 

The time I met you

I knew there was something I

Never had before.

 

You were my sun

And I was your moon

I knew we’re different

But I tried to keep the fire burning.

I prayed for a miracle but now

It’s the opposite of

What I’ve prayed for.

 

Ive got so many plans

To work this thing out

But now I am not

Certain about anything anymore.

 

You tore my heart

Piece by piece

By just looking at

The empty messages you gave me.

 

Maybe I just assumed so much

That you liked me too this much

Ive got so much love to give

Turns out, there’s nothing left

For myself.
