Loving LoyaltyA Poem by A Foiled SoulLoyalty is true in the event of love.
A girl walks in,
Says she needs a place to stay, I wasn't thinking, Said okay any day, She said my name's Lindsay, My folks are out of town, I've been searching, It's you I have found, As she leaned in for a kiss, My heart skipped a beat, I pulled back, Giving up this delicious treat, I said I made a promise, There is a girl that I love, I said I'd wait for her, Even if I'm dead above Lindsay understood, And as she turned to leave, She attacked me with a hug, Stating I want you on this rug, Grimly, she turned, A look of despair, I felt bad, I tried to be fair, But then I remembered I did love, Ashley was the girl, I swore I'd wait, Upon this world, So while I am tempted, I am not, Ashley is the one, I've already fought, © 2014 A Foiled SoulAuthor's Note
