The American Whisper

The American Whisper

A Poem by Dorian

The American whisper rising from your skin
became the wind in my dreams tonight.
the common sins we committed
became a nightmare in my life.
I taste unusual tastes from your lips, words of others.
Other people's kisses are falling from your skin
The ones I call my brothers causes your phone to ring
Who filled the arms that I used to call heaven with devils?
Who caused those eyes to fill with tears?
You left like you never smiled with me as rebels
No more you are the rebellious flower of my sadness.
