Connected

Who are you 'connected' to?

"Connected"

Through your pain,

to you, I feel connected.

Through your actions,

by you, I feel respected.

Without words, in you,

I sense frustration.

If I could, for you,

I'd build a nation.

Through the good and bad,

up the channel of life you keep rowing.

As a person and a mother,

you continually keep growing.

Your accomplishments,

are a source of inspiration,

for me and the many,

who live tomorrow in  frustration.

In silence, by many,

You are respected.

To you, now and forever,

I feel connected.
