Kenan laid Caesar on the ground and froze him in place with his time magic. “Combine our powers?” said Patricia. “Yes. If we stand together, we can possibly destroy that demon and stop her from corrupting anymore people.” said Kenan. “I agree but I’m afraid the man who was supposed to be my father was already corrupted before that.” said Patricia. “What do you mean by that?” said Kenan. “He killed my mom.” said Patricia. “Yeah, I did. She was going to leave me and take Patricia. So, I prevented that from happening.” said Caesar. “Wait. So that Victoria Blackburn we heard from Caesar was your mom? I am so sorry for your loss. We will grieve for her together but not now.” said Kenan. Alfasad lay on the roof waiting for the group’s conversation to end. “Are you all finished talking? I don’t mind you saying your last words, but you are taking forever!!” said Alfasad. “Yes, we are finished.” said Patricia. “Come on, let’s do this.” said Kenan as he stood facing Alfasad. Elysia transformed and stood next to Kenan. “Right!!” said Etsilla and Patricia as they also stood shoulder to shoulder with Kenan. “I love how you’re all in a line like a kabob. I am looking forward to tearing the meat off all your bones!!” said Alfasad as she roared and charged forward at the group. Kenan used his time magic to freeze Alfasad in place. “Etsilla, burn her to a crisp. Now!!” said Kenan. “Absolutely!!!” said Etsilla as she spewed bursts of flame at Alfasad. Unfortunately, Alfasad broke free and roared at the flame causing the air to put it out before it could get to her. “Did you honestly believe that could stop me, your pitiful band of misfits?” said Alfasad. As Alfasad laughed at the group’s failed attempt she found herself being constricted from wires and springs from old mattresses left in the apartments below. “Who’s the misfit now?” said Patricia as her eyes glowed and the wind blew her cloak. “Curse you, you blasted esper!!” said Alfasad as she screamed trying to break free from the constriction but was burned every time, she moved due Etsilla’s flames. Kenan used his time magic to freeze Alfasad again while Elysia slapped her endlessly with her snake tail. When Alfasad was completely wrapped up, the group stopped and let her lay on the roof on her side. “Yes!! We did it!!” said Kenan. “Yes. We sure did!!” said Patricia and Etsilla. “Great job everyone!!” said Elysia. “God damn it!! How the hell did I lose to you punks?!!!” said Alfasad. “That’s what happens when you underestimate your opponents. That’s what happens when you corrupt humans and believe that all of us can be easily fooled.” said Kenan. “Exactly.” said Elysia. “Now Patricia. I’m going to leave the choice on what to do to Alfasad to you.” said Kenan. “You want me to decide?” said Patricia. “Of course. I believe it’s the right thing to do. Your life was pretty much ruined because of this monster and Caesar too.” said Kenan. “If you want to blame someone then give it to Caesar. If he never called my listing, then Patricia’s suffering never would’ve happened.” said Alfasad. “I am not talking to you b***h!!” said Kenan as he kicked Alfasad in the stomach as hard as he could. Alfasad laughed knowing she didn’t even feel the blow from Kenan’s shoe. Patricia approached Alfasad with her right hand out in front of her. “If you are going to do it then make it quick b***h!!!!” said Alfasad as she closed her eyes. Patricia then got to her knees and slapped Alfasad across the face as hard as she could. “Don’t you ever call me that again. You are very lucky that I am going to let you live.” said Patricia. “I see. You've made your choice. Elysia, can you take care of this please?” said Kenan. “Yes honey.” said Elysia as she opened a portal to hell by the edge of the roof and pushed Alfasad into it. The group cheered together for their victory. “Kenan.” said Patricia as she approached Kenan. “What is it, Patricia?” said Kenan. “I got to ask. Why were you so persistent in being involved in this? Why would you go so hell bent?” said Patricia. “Several years ago, my older brother, who was a time guardian just like me, wanted to use time travel to kill every evil person in history. I just couldn’t let him do that.” said Kenan. “I see. You want to make matters right. That makes sense.” said Patricia. “Exactly.” said Kenan. Patricia looked at the frozen Caesar, approached him and said, “I think it’s time for you to pay for your crimes.” “Right.” said Etsilla as they both used their powers to lift Caesar up. Kenan and Elysia called for Patricia, mounted on her back, and followed back to Blackburn Industries. Patricia and Etsilla had then forced Caesar to record a video confession to not only the murder of his wife but his human trafficking practices. With the help of Kenan, they took more pictures of all the evidence in Caesar’s file cabinets with his own phone. And with that, the group left Caesar at a police station bound and gagged at the front door. Caesar’s cell phone was taped to his forehead with all the evidence for the proper authorities to look at. A few days later at Kafziel’s mansion, Patricia and Etsilla cheered at the sight of Caesar’s arrest on the news. Caesar’s office was raided, and all the evidence was seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Blackburn Industries was shut down for good leaving all its employees without a job. All the company employees were interrogated, and no action was taken against them because it was proven that they were unaware of Caesar’s true actions. All the clients of the human trafficking business were arrested as well. The children were taken, placed into protective custody and were in the process of being returned to their families. Kenan and the others laughed as they watched Caesar continue to beg and plead with the proper authorities when he mentioned demons. No one believed him. Patricia sighed as the news showed the finding of the remains of her beloved mother Victoria’s corpse. Etsilla held onto Patricia as tears rolled down her eyes. “I am sorry Patricia. I might not have met her, but I think she would’ve been happy seeing us together.” said Etsilla. “I know. I will never forget her. She was an amazing mom. Come to think of it, I should be happy now knowing that the truth has been uncovered.” said Patricia as she wiped her tears. “And it’s all thanks to Kenan. Great job.” said Kafziel as she rubbed onto Kenan’s head. “Thank you Kafz. Anyway, I think justice has been served.” said Kenan. “You can say that again Kenan.” said Patricia. “Anyway, what are you going to do now Patricia and Etsilla?” said Kenan. “First things first. We like to take a shower. Kafziel, can we use it please?” said Patricia. “Of course. Towels are in the cabinet.” said Kafziel. Patricia and Etsilla both grabbed a plastic bag as they headed for the bathroom. They removed their cloaks and tossed them to the floor. They each took turns washing each other in the bath as well as cutting each other’s hair with a pair of scissors that was on the sink. Kenan and the others waited patiently for the telepaths to come out for an hour. When Patricia and Etsilla both came out of the bathroom and entered the living room Kenan and the others gasped at the sight of them. Both had shorter hair at the same length. Patricia was wearing the same yellow shirt and blue jeans tailored to her size. Etsilla, on the other hand, was wearing a dark red shirt and blue jeans. “Isn’t that the...?” said Kenan. “Yes, it is. I kept it my whole life. I just couldn’t discard these clothes. I am only wearing them because I want to embrace that little girl whose life was ruined by her father.” said Patricia. “I see.” said Kenan. “Anyway, I think we should be heading back to my ship. My people are waiting for us there. They must be very worried.” said Etsilla. “I’ll call you a ride share for you two. Where is your ship located?” said Kenan. “It’s at the Blue Hills Reservation.” said Patricia. And with that, Kenan requested a rideshare for Patricia and Etsilla with his phone as promised. As they waited for the car to come to the estate, Kenan had one final conversation with Patricia and Etsilla. “Patricia, can I ask you one more thing?” said Kenan. “Of course, Kenan.” said Patricia. “When we made it back here, I looked up an update on that man you killed in that video. His body was never found. What did you do with it?” said Kenan. “We put him in a duffle bag after we destroyed his cell phone.” said Patricia. “Where did you throw that bag?” said Kenan. “We threw him into the river off a boat by Castle Island.” said Patricia. “I appreciate that you told me. I will go there and return that body to his family. That at least will give them closure. As far as those gunmen you both have killed, they were nothing more than garbage. They deserved what they got.” said Kenan. “You got that right, and you are welcome.” said Patricia. “One more thing. I have something for you. I found it in Caesar’s desk.” said Kenan as he handed Patricia a photo. The photograph was a picture of a younger Caesar and an African American woman holding onto baby Patricia. The woman had black curly hair and eyes just like Patricia. “Thank you so much Kenan.” said Patricia. “I guess that woman is your mom.” said Kenan. “Yes. That is her.” said Patricia. “She was very beautiful.” said Kenan. “She was.” said Kenan. “If you ever need my help, I will be there.” said Kenan as he gave Patricia a piece of paper with his phone number written on it. “I should say thank you to you too Kenan. You taught me that not every human is filled with evil like Caesar. I will make sure to tell that to my people.” said Etsilla. “I am glad to hear that. I may not be some higher power who governs this planet, but I am going to say it anyway. Your people are welcome to say here.” said Kenan. And with that, the rideshare driver arrived. The time traveling mage went on his separate ways with the esper and alien.
Meanwhile in a chapel somewhere underneath the city of Boston, there was a crowd of Caucasian men of various ages staring at a man in front of a podium. “Smites, do you remember what I said?!!!” said the man. “Yes Thomas James!!!” said the crowd. “Say it with me.” said Thomas as he raised a gun in the air. “Smite the monkeys!!!” said the crowd as they did the same.
