IntroductionA Chapter by johnub4This is the introduction of the book.Long ago in a galaxy far away there was a
family of planets called the Eayila system. Every planet was enriched with a
single element except for the one known as Alsayid Alkabir. Alsayid Alkabir was
home to the Eayila systems’ ruler Orvak. Throughout his reign, Orvak had
claimed the name Orvak the Relentless. Orvak roamed the universe in a physical
form no different than a human. He was over six feet tall. His limbs were
bulky. His skin was dark brown. He always wore a broad suit of armor and had a
glass orb tied around his waist with a belt. The Eayila system consisted of a
total of six planets. Every planet was assigned a leader to govern its
inhabitants. The leaders were all offspring of Orvak. The planet Nartakatur
consisted of telepathic fire handlers. The planet Ardtakatur consisted of
telepathic earth handlers. The planet Hawatakatur consisted of telepathic air
handlers. The planet Raedtakatur consisted of telepathic thunder handlers.
Lastly, the planet Matakatur consisted of telepathic water handlers. Every
waking day for the Eayila system consisted of conquering planets and enslaving
their inhabitants. Orvak always celebrated every victory drinking with his
bands of followers on Alsayid. The inhabitants of Nartakatur were the only ones
who remained neutral throughout all Orvak’s conquests. Orvak soon became
enraged knowing that the Nartakaturians never helped him in his plans to
conquer the universe. That led him to visit the planet alone. The planet
Nartakatur itself consisted of volcanoes and mines. Orvak gasped out of
frustration at the sight of the inhabitants living in peace and harmony with
each other. Some were gathering minerals while others were training into honing
their elemental and telepathic abilities. The inhabitants all had red skin as
well as worn cloaks that resembled their skin tone. Seeing the positivity led
Orvak to yell, “Etsilla!!!” The conqueror’s voice was so loud, the planet’s
leader Etsilla heard him from the eastern corners. With her fire handling
skills, Etsilla flew to Orvak’s location. “Yes, Orvak sir.” said Etsilla.
“Etsilla. What is going on here?” said Orvak. “What do you mean? My people are
just living their lives here.” said Etsilla. “I mean that they are not
assisting me in any of my plans for conquests.” said Orvak. “Sir, I’ve told you
many times that we don’t want to be involved in your reign of terror. How many
more should I say that? You really should stop with the pressure.” said
Etsilla. “I will keep doing that whether you want to or not. The others are
doing it, and they are having the time of their lives. I will also keep telling
you to call me dad. I am and always will be your father.” said Orvak. As the
dialogue continued, Esmara, Etsilla’s mother, approached them. Esmara wore a
red cloak. “What’s going on here?” said Esmara. “Oh, hi mom.” said Etsilla
giving Esmara a smile. Orvak clenched his fist and started to breathe loudly
saying, “Oh. So, you call her mom and won’t call me dad.” “Look Orvak we don’t
want anything to do with you. We decided that when you chose to care more about
conquering the universe than being a father. You see your other children more
than you see us anyway.” said Esmara as while holding onto Etsilla. “Yeah.”
said Etsilla. “Etsilla, I will never understand you. I have no idea what your
problem is. You never accepted any of the suitors I arranged for you to marry.”
said Orvak. “That should tell you right there that I am not into males. Your
problem is that you want to make me into you. I won’t become you. Ever.” said
Etsilla. “How dare you both speak to me that way? Who do you think you are
talking to?” said Orvak. “Get out of here you mindless killing machine. Never
come back or I will make you.” said Esmara as fire began to appear in one of
her hands. Orvak stood completely still and said, “Go ahead if you can.” “Take
this you dog!!” said Esmara as she threw bursts of flame at Orvak. Orvak gasped
at the sight of the deadly blaze before he was struck by it. A cloud of smoke
engulfed the area preventing Esmara and Etsilla from seeing if their time with
Orvak was over or not. “Yeah, you did it!!” said Etsilla. As Etsilla raised her
hand in the air out of celebration, she heard a loud chuckle coming from the
smoke. “What the?” said Esmara. The smoke faded, showing Orvak completely
unharmed by Esmara’s attack. “Ha!! Did you really think that you won?” said
Orvak holding onto the orb he kept on his belt. The orb turned black as an
obsidian. “What’s this?” said Esmara and Etsilla. “It appears that you both are
the one with a problem being unaware of my power. If I have the mura stone,
then no element will have any effect on me.” said Orvak. “Oh no!!” said Esmara
and Etsilla. “I am afraid there is worse news. Whenever I get struck by an
element while holding the mura stone, it counters with the one that’s opposed
to it. You attacked me with fire so say hello to some water.” said Orvak as the
mura stone began to shoot a tremendous burst of water right at Etsilla and her
mother. At an instant, Esmara threw Etsilla out of the attack’s view and took
it herself. Orvak smiled as he heard Esmara screaming and bled protecting her
daughter one more time. “Mom!!” said Etsilla. “Etsilla, get out of here. Run
and save yourself. I love you.” said Esmara as she fell onto the ground and
died. “Orvak!!” said Etsilla. “Yeah, that’s it. Come on. Get mad. Fight me.”
said Orvak. “You killed my mom you b*****d!!” said Etsilla. “Her death is
punishment for resisting order. I like to end you right here as well but how
about I punish your precious friends as well.” said Orvak as he raised the mura
stone in the air. “What?” said Etsilla as she felt a drop of rain fall onto her
head. Feeling that made Etsilla run and hide in a mine. “Yeah, that’s it. Run
for your life.” said Orvak as the rainstorm got heavier. “Please stop.” said
Etsilla. Etsilla covered her ears not to hear the screams of her people before
they died not given an ounce of mercy. The lone fire telepath stayed in her
hiding place until the storm and the screams stopped in unison. Orvak shouted
after achieving his goal. “Nartakatur!! Consider this your punishment! You
should have followed your orders and joined me in my conquest! The universe is
mine to command! Those who resist me shall perish!” said Orvak as he left for
his ship. Out of nowhere a blazing molten rock struck Orvak’s vessel destroying
it into pieces. Orvak turned around and gasped at the sight of Etsilla standing
in front of him. “Unfortunately, you are not going anywhere. If you are going
to kill my friends, then you deserve to die here.” said Etsilla. At an instant,
a band of fire telepaths appeared behind Etsilla. “Telnor!! Orion! Chetanzi and
Oryssa!! You all survived!!” said Etsilla. “We’re alive because of you Etsilla.
You warned us to hide through a telepathic message.” said Orion. “I did? I must
have subconsciously done that while hiding.” said Etsilla. “And we thank you
for that. How about we take Orvak down together?” said Chetanzi. “Yes.” said Etsilla.
“Aww put a sock in the touching reunion. Do you honestly believe that a band of
your pitiful insignificant rats have a chance to stop me?!! I am Orvak the
Relentless. The universe is mine!!” said Orvak. As Orvak spoke he found himself
frozen stiff, unable to move a muscle. “I don’t think we are as insignificant
as you think we are. Too long we feared you. Too long we believed we were no
chance against you. Too long you have forgotten that we aren’t just elementals.
If we rely on our telepathic abilities, we can beat you.” said Etsilla as she
approached Orvak and took the mura stone from him. “Give that back to me.” said
Orvak as he tried to move but couldn’t. “I’m afraid the mura stone is mine now.”
said Etsilla. At an instant, the color of the stone turned to white. Telnor and
the others gathered around Etsilla to look at the mura stone as it glowed
brightly. “I guess that that thing must have a mind of its own.” said Telnor.
“Yeah. It must have changed because it feels the wielder’s purpose of using
it.” said Oryssa. “I see.” said Etsilla as she looked back at Orvak. “What do
you want to do with him Etsilla?” said Orion. “I want to give him a fate worse
than death.” said Etsilla. “Which is?” said Telnor. “We’re going to leave
Nartakatur. There is nothing left for us here. Orvak is going to die here.”
said Etsilla. “Okay. I will get our ship ready for departure.” said Chetanzi as
she left to go power up her vessel while the other survivors followed. Etsilla
remained staring at Orvak. “Aren’t you going to go with them?” said Orvak. “I
will. I just want to look at you. One more time. I want to hear if you have one
more thing to say to me because this will be the last time you’ll ever see me.”
said Etsilla. “I have nothing more to say to failing offspring of mine.” said
Orvak. And with that, Etsilla put the mura stone down and encased most of
Orvak’s body in molten rock with her telepathic powers. Etsilla then buried her
beloved mother Esmara right next to the imprisoned Orvak. “There. That should
do it.” said Etsilla. Etsilla heard a loud voice coming from her ship. “Etsilla
we’re ready.” said Chetanzi. “Okay. Let’s go.” said Etsilla as she left her
parents taking the mura stone along with her. Etsilla stared at Orvak out of
the window of her ship as it got into the air. She smiled as Orvak broke out of
his prison and threw rocks at the vessel. Orion approached Etsilla and said,
“Well Etsilla, where are we going to go?” “We’re going somewhere the Eayila
system won’t find us. We are going to Earth. “Chetanzi, set a course for
Earth.” said Etsilla. “Affirmative. Honestly, I’m excited for this journey. I
always wanted to see new worlds. It’s been my dream ever since I was a little
girl.” said Chetanzi as she maneuvered the ship. “I see.” said Etsilla. And
with that, Etsilla and her friends left what was once their home off to go find
a new one where they could feel safe. © 2025 johnub4 |
