As Gordon smiled and waved at the crowd that applauded for him, he noticed that time around him have suddenly stopped. At an instant, a large flash of white light came at him. The creatures around him disappeared along it. The only thing that Gordon could see was the body of the demon sorcerer Hadad standing in front of him. Gordon sighed as he noticed that he was back in his own body again. “You’re wondering what happened next. Don’t you?” said Hadad as he approached Gordon. “Yes. What happened after that?” said Gordon. “The only answer I can give you is that the very next day I was jettisoned from Hell.” said Hadad. “What? Why did that happen?” said Gordon. “I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. All I know is that my spirit was placed inside of a human. That human is you.” said Hadad. “Why didn’t you show me this sooner in my life? I need to know that.” said Gordon. “Because I heard that human understanding takes nearly thirty years to develop. So, I waited inside of you for it to be finally reached.” said Hadad. “I see. It all makes perfect sense now.” said Gordon. “What do you mean by that?” said Hadad. “I mean I have always known.” said Gordon. “You’ve known?” said Hadad. “Everywhere I went I’ve seen you. I just couldn’t explain it. So, I assumed that we had a connection of some kind, and this is what it is.” said Gordon. “So, you accept the truth then?” said Hadad. “Yes. I might as well. You’ll probably keep doing this until I do.” said Gordon. “Good.” said Hadad as his eyes glowed green and he phased into Gordon’s body. Gordon flinched due to a cold chill that ran up his spine. His eyes glowed green and he woke up back in the real world. He was still laying on his bed beside Asmodeus. Asmodeus was also awake staring right at Gordon. “Good morning, babe.” said Asmodeus. “Good morning my love.” said Gordon. “Say babe, is there something wrong?” said Asmodeus. “No, why do you ask?” said Gordon. “Your eye color is different. Look.” said Asmodeus as she handed Gordon a mirror. Gordon gasped as he noticed that his eyes were as bright green as Hadad. “I must have put on contacts before going to bed last night.” said Gordon. “I see. Well, I will go start breakfast.” said Asmodeus as she got out of bed and headed to the kitchen. As Gordon and Asmodeus ate together, they both flinched due to the loud sound of their front door being kicked open. “What the hell?” said Gordon as he headed to the front door. He gasped as he recognized who was standing at his doorway. “Hello Hadad.” said Sophia with a sinister tone in her voice. “What?” said Gordon. “Don’t what me.” said Sophia as she pushed Gordon onto the wall causing it to crack. “Gordon!!” said Asmodeus as she approached. “Asmodeus stay back!!” said Gordon as he tried to break free from Sophia’s grip. “Oh, don’t struggle. I want to have my time with killing you.” said Sophia. “Kill me for what?” said Gordon. “I know who you really are. You are the demon sorcerer Hadad stuffed inside of a human.” said Sophia. “What?” said Gordon. Sophia pushed Gordon harder onto the wall and said, “I said don’t what me. I hate having to explain something to you in this body.” “This body?” said Gordon. “Yes. You know what I mean. See your enemy.” said Sophia. Gordon then looked at Sophia’s eyes and noticed that they were as blue as the sky. “No. That is not possible.” said Gordon. “There is nowhere you can go where I won’t find you. Now on Earth and with no access to your magical power in a body that’s unable to harness it I will take you out.” said Sophia as a ball of water appeared in her hand. “Listen Leviathan. You better let him go.” said Asmodeus. Leviathan looked at Asmodeus and said, “Look at who else I found. It’s so great to see you, Asmodeus. How’s it going living without your crown?” “Since you asked it’s been great. Now you let him go before I make you.” said Asmodeus as her eyes glowed red. “Leviathan. If you really want to settle this with me then how about we do it tonight.” said Gordon. “You’re in no position to be making demands.” said Leviathan. “Think about it. You will have your homefield advantage if it’s somewhere there is a lot of water.” said Gordon. “You think I will let myself lose that way again.” said Leviathan. “I don’t have the mura stone.” said Gordon. “Then that sounds like a great idea. I will give you a fighting chance. Name the place.” said Leviathan as the water in her hand disappeared and she released Gordon from her grip. “There is a beach near here. It’s located on Columbia Road. At night there is barely anyone there. We’ll fight there.” said Gordon. “I see.” said Leviathan. “Now leave.” said Gordon. “I will. I will let you prepare for your final hours.” said Leviathan as she left the apartment and walked down the stairs to leave the building. The hallway of the apartment was full of bystanders. “What is going on here?” said one of the apartment tenants. “Oh, I’m sorry. We were just playing around. I forgot the walls in the building were thin. That won’t happen again.” said Gordon as he closed the front door even though it was broken. “Gordon. I think you have an explanation you should tell me.” said Asmodeus. “You are right. Let’s sit down.” said Gordon as he and Asmodeus sat down in the living room. “Now babe please tell me what’s going on here.” said Asmodeus. “It’s a very long explanation baby. I hope you’re prepared.” said Gordon. “I love you. I am willing to listen to anything you share to me.” said Asmodeus. “I love you too. So last night I had a dream that I wish I had stayed in.,” said Gordon. “Why?” said Asmodeus. “Because I figured out who I really am.,” said Gordon. “Who are you really?” said Asmodeus. “I am the demon sorcerer Hadad.” said Gordon. “Hadad. That must be the one who Leviathan was fighting.” said Asmodeus. “Wait a minute. How do you know about my dream?” said Gordon. “Remember that night when you woke up with me in your face?” said Asmodeus. “Yeah. Why?” said Gordon. “I was trying to make you have exotic dreams about me, but I was forced to see your nightmare instead.” said Asmodeus. “I see. Then you should know that the fight was a rematch over the title of envy. One of the seven deadly sins.” said Gordon. “I forgot to ask who won that fight anyway.” said Asmodeus. “I did.” said Gordon. “That’s my Gordon.” said Asmodeus. “Thanks love. Anyway, after I won the title, everything went white. All I could see was Hadad himself.” said Gordon. “And what did he say to you?” said Asmodeus. “He told me that I am a living vessel of his spirit. I accepted that I am him and he is me.” said Gordon. “Even if all of that is true you are not going to fight Leviathan tonight. Are you?” said Asmodeus. “I sure am.,” said Gordon. “But how are you going to fight her when you’re unable to harness Hadad’s powers?” said Asmodeus. “When did I say I can’t use Hadad’s powers?” said Gordon giving Asmodeus a smile. “You mean?” said Asmodeus. “Yes. Hadad, do your thing.” said Gordon as his eyes glowed green and a whisp of air encircled him. At an instant, the coasters on the coffee table were lifted in the air along with the display of power. It circled around the room like a tornado until Gordon commanded it to stop. Asmodeus’ jaw dropped at Gordon as the items landed on the floor. “Wow. And I thought my secret was bad.” said Asmodeus. “There is nothing wrong with you babe or me for that matter. We are who we are. That’s the truth. If no one can accept us, then that is their problem.” said Gordon. “You’re right. Anyway, I bet Leviathan is going to be the one crying tonight.” said Asmodeus. “You’re right. I am going to beat her again like I did before.” said Gordon. “You will Gordon. I know you will.” said Asmodeus. And with that, Gordon and Asmodeus set an alarm and laid together on the couch until nightfall. The couple woke up the moment they heard the alarm go off. “It’s time. Leviathan should be there waiting.” said Gordon. “Yep. Let’s go.” said Asmodeus as she left the apartment building with Gordon and headed over to the beach. As expected, Leviathan was waiting for Gordon to arrive. “I knew you’d come. Now are you ready.” said Leviathan. “Yes. I’m ready to beat you again for the third time.” said Gordon. “Before we start, I’m going to make it clear. If your precious Asmodeus interferes you automatically lose, and I kill you.” said Leviathan. “But…,” said Asmodeus. “It’s okay Asmodeus. I must do this alone.” said Gordon. “Okay…well you be careful.” said Asmodeus. “Okay now let’s do this.” said Leviathan as she grabbed Gordon and tossed him into the air. “Stop!!” said Gordon as he landed safely while gliding onto the water. Leviathan followed and transformed into her demon form. “Now it’s time to take my revenge.” said Leviathan as she attempted to chomp onto Gordon. “Oh man. Not this again.” said Gordon as he clutched onto Leviathan’s upper jaw. “You won’t get away this time. You are dead!!” said Leviathan as she began to close her mouth. Gordon tried with all his might to stop the dreadful sea serpent, but he failed and was swallowed up. “Gordon!!” said Asmodeus as she began to cry. “This is so funny. Now the very thing that’s been a threat to me for a long time is now dead. I win.” said Leviathan. “Is this really the end of me?” said Gordon as he drifted in Leviathan’s insides. When all hope seemed lost, Gordon heard a voice in his head. “Come on Hadad. I know you care about solving your problems alone, but you can ask for help sometimes.” said the familiar voice. “Is that who I think it.” said Gordon. “Yeah. The one and only Zeus.” said Zeus. “Zeus. Please help me.” said Gordon. “I will. Please take half of my power.” said Zeus as he sent a surge of electrical energy into Gordon’s body. “Thank you. I got to ask why would you want to help me in the first place.” said Gordon. “I told you before. You and I are one and the same. I am not going to allow you to die.” said Zeus. “Okay. I promise you that I won’t let this power go to waste.” said Gordon. “I’m sure you won’t. Now get out of Leviathan’s stomach and take her down for good.” said Zeus. “Right. Hadad, do your thing.” said Gordon as his eyes glowed yellow while at the same time a surge of electrical energy encircled around his body caused him to scream and shoot beams at every inch of Leviathan’s internal organs. Leviathan began to scream out of agony, “What is this? What’s going on?!!” Asmodeus stopped crying and said, “It’s Gordon! He’s still alive! Come on baby. Get out of there!!” “Leviathan spit me out!! This isn’t over yet!” said Gordon as he continued to shoot at Leviathan’s organs. “You tricked me. You let me eat you.” said Leviathan as she struggled to keep on. “Do it! Spit me out!!” said Gordon. “Okay!!” said Leviathan as she did what Gordon said and regurgitated him out of her body. Gordon glided back up in the air and faced the sea serpent head on. “Thank you for that.” said Gordon. “How? How are you still alive?” said Leviathan. “Because I will never ever let you defeat me. I won’t lose to you.” said Gordon. “That’s it. I guess it’s time I use that ability again. Only this time it will be even more powerful.” said Leviathan as she gathered several streams of the river around her and combined them into a singular larger one. “How can I stop it without the mura stone?” said Gordon as he stared at the gathering of water elemental energy. “Use the thunderbolt power I gave you and combine it with your air.” said Zeus inside Gordon’s head. “That’s it!!” said Gordon as an orb of wind appeared in his left hand and one of lightning on his right. “You think you can stop me with some stupid balls.” said Leviathan as she sprung her attack at Gordon. “No!! You’re done!!” said Gordon as he combined the two elemental energies into one and fired a large stream right back at Leviathan. The two forces clashed with each other. The force from it was so strong it produced a shockwave that struck Asmodeus. “Die!! Just die!!” said Leviathan as her attack began to push Gordon’s back at him. “No!! I won’t let you win!!” said Gordon as he pushed Leviathan’s attack right back at her with his. At an instant, an additional wave of air and electrical energy encircled around Gordon making his attack powerful enough to strike Leviathan down. The impact from Gordon’s attack caused her to revert to her human form and fall into the water. Gordon, however, dived into the river and swam to bring Leviathan back onto shore. “Nicely done babe. You were amazing.” said Asmodeus. “Thank you, baby. Now I must save Leviathan.” said Gordon as he attempted to resuscitate Leviathan. “Wait a minute. She just tried to kill you and you’re trying to save her.” said Asmodeus. “I don’t fight to kill. That’s not the kind of demon I am. Come on Leviathan. Come on!!” said Gordon. And with that, Leviathan woke up and not only spat out water, but she also extracted herself out of Sophia’s body. The sea serpent was still in her human form as she appeared on the ground. Sophia went unconscious again when Leviathan got back on her feet. Asmodeus stood next to Leviathan said, “I understand what you mean but if she tries anything funny, I will kill her myself.” “I just lost this fight. I am not a match for either of you. I won’t attack. I promise.” said Leviathan. “I believe you. Now I got some questions that I like to be answered as a reward for winning.” said Gordon. “That is fair enough. Go ahead.” said Leviathan. “That was you I had sex with. Wasn’t it?” said Gordon. “Yes.” said Leviathan. “That was you arguing with me about that fallacious rape incident. Wasn’t it?” said Gordon. “Yes.” said Leviathan. “That was you who tried to stab me at the police station too. Wasn’t it?” said Gordon. “Yes.” said Leviathan. “That means Sophia never knew me at all. It was you controlling her body during the eighteen months we were together.” said Gordon. “You’re right. Your relationship was all a fake just so I could get a chance to end you. The police idea failed so I tried to kill you there.” said Leviathan. “My next question. Why would you go so hell bent on killing me?” said Gordon. “Because I can’t go on living knowing that a demon that bests me in every way go out free.” said Leviathan. “Well, no matter how many times you fight me. You will never win.” said Gordon. “I understand that now. You got any other questions?” said Leviathan. “Yes. Why would you want to possess Sophia anyway? Why do you look just like her?” said Gordon. “The answer to both those questions is that she is my daughter. I needed to make sure that she was alright.” said Leviathan. “Your daughter? You’re her mother? Who would have a kid with you?” said Gordon. “Who wouldn’t want to have a child with someone as lovely as me?” said Leviathan. “You made a good point. I now see for what you really are. You’re jealous of the fact that your daughter being more lovely than you. So, you got with a man, had a kid with him and took her away from him and gave her away for adoption. Didn’t you?” said Gordon. “Yes.” said Leviathan. “Who is her real father?” said Gordon. “I will not be answering that. That has nothing to do with you.” said Leviathan. “That’s fine. You don’t have to say. Why would you show up in Sophia’s life now instead of being there every day like her adoptive parents were?” said Gordon. “I’m one of the seven deadly sins with a responsibility to harvest souls for Lady Satan. I live to be the most beautiful woman ever born. I would have terminated the pregnancy if I had wanted to. I only allowed her to live because one day she would be of use to me.” said Leviathan. “Like you said it has nothing to do with me, but I will say this anyway. You are a sad sorry excuse of a mom. You’re even more disgusting for having sex with me using your own daughter’s body. It’s bad enough that you’re a deadbeat but you’re also a rapist. I want to puke right now knowing that happened.” said Gordon. “You’re right but I don’t care if it’s coming from you.” said Leviathan. As Gordon continued to get answers from Leviathan, a magical window appeared. In that window was someone Gordon didn’t expect to see. “Oh no!!” said Leviathan as she bowed her head onto the sand knowing that the one in the window was none other than Satan herself. “So, you’re actually real?” said Gordon. “Of course, I am. Now Leviathan get off your a*s right now. We have got business to discuss.” said Satan as she lifted her hand. At an instant, Leviathan’s crown glowed. The sea serpent screamed in agony like she was being tortured. “What’s going on?” said Gordon. “It’s the crown that she’s wearing. It's made from Satan’s own blood. Her very own blood is a deadly weapon. That ability of hers is a precaution she has over the Seven Deadly Sins when they either fail or betray her. Looking at this now I can’t be anymore happy that I am no longer one of them. I’m glad that she just kicked me out instead of torturing me.” said Asmodeus. “Damn.” said Gordon. “My lady please. Please. Stop this.” said Leviathan. “Why should I when you failed?” said Leviathan. “Look. I want you to stop. I like an explanation of all this.” said Gordon. “Since this f*****g concerns you then I will do it.” said Satan as she stopped torturing Leviathan. Leviathan gasped loudly as she got back up on her feet. “Now I want an answer from you. What the hell do you mean this concerns me?” said Gordon. “Do you remember what happened after you won the second fight against Leviathan?” said Satan. “No. I don’t.” said Gordon. “That’s because I erased your memories. Then I sent your demon spirit to Earth and placed it inside a pregnant woman. That woman was your mother.” said Gordon. “Really? What? Then what about the mura stone? What did you do with it?” said Gordon. “I threw it into outer space through my portal.” said Satan. “Why did you do all of this?” said Gordon. “Because Leviathan gave me an idea.” said Satan. “What idea is that?” said Gordon. “You survive thirty years on Earth as a human. I expected you to die earlier than that, but I guess your powers awakened. I completely underestimated you and your fight to live.” said Satan. “Well thanks.” said Gordon. “You are welcome. Do you have any other questions?” said Satan. “Yes. Why should Leviathan suffer for this?” said Gordon. “Because I told her that she can keep the title of envy permanently if she can finally beat you. She failed so she now must pay. Since you won you can come back and serve me as my envy.” said Satan as she magically removed the crown of blue flames from Leviathan’s head and placed it in Gordon’s hands. The flames subsided the moment it landed onto Gordon’s palms. “Wow. I never thought I’d see this again.” said Gordon. “Hadad. Now is the time to choose. Serve me as my Envy or you can stay on Earth. Make your choice.” said Satan. Gordon spent the next few minutes staring at the crown. “I remember when I said that I wanted to prove myself that I can serve you as a demon.” said Gordon. “And?” said Satan. “I realize now that I was wrong. I’m done with this, and I am done with you. Here Leviathan.” said Gordon as he put the crown back on Leviathan’s head. The crown’s flames came back the moment it touched Leviathan’s cranium. “So, you’ve made your choice.” said Satan. “Yes. Now just leave my sight. I hope to never see you again.” said Gordon. “Okay. Have fun living on Earth. Now as for you Leviathan. Consider this a warning. You ever fail me again the torture will be worse. Do you understand me?” said Satan. “Yes. Yes, my lady.” said Leviathan. “Good.” said Satan as the window faded away. Both Gordon and Asmodeus stared at Leviathan. “Okay. So now what?” said Leviathan. “I want you to leave. Don’t ever show up in my life again. You do it again and you will be beaten by me again.” said Gordon. “Okay. Bye.” said Leviathan as she ran away as fast as she could. The moment Leviathan had left the scene, Sophia had woken up. “What the hell? Where am I? Why am I here?” said Sophia. “Sophia, you’re awake.” said Gordon. “Gordon. I’m so sorry. I knew what I was doing with my body, but I couldn’t stop myself.” said Sophia. “You don’t have to apologize. It’s water under the bridge.” said Gordon. “I thought that I heard someone say that they’re my mother.” said Sophia. “So, you heard that. Allow me to explain.” said Gordon. Gordon had spent the next fifteen minutes telling Sophia of the conversation he had with Leviathan. “I see. Where is she now?” said Sophia. “She’s gone. I told her to leave.” said Gordon. “Oh. Well, I should go.” said Sophia. “Yeah. Say, do you need a ride.” said Gordon. “I would like that.” said Sophia. “Baby, can you call a ride for Sophia for me?” said Gordon. “Of course, babe.” said Asmodeus as she pulled out her phone and requested a ride share for Sophia. Gordon, Asmodeus and Sophia waited for the rideshare driver to arrive at the beach. “Thanks for the ride, Gordon.” said Sophia. “You are welcome. You take care of yourself now.” said Gordon. Sophia got in the car and left. Gordon waved goodbye to Sophia unsure if he would ever see her again. “Well done, Gordon. That was amazing babe.” said Asmodeus. “Thank you, my love.” said Gordon. “Now that you resolved this, what are you going to do now?” said Asmodeus. “I’m going to move forward in life, but I thought of a great idea.” said Gordon. “Which is?” said Asmodeus. “I want to take down as many demons as I can. I want to send them back to Hell where they belong.” said Gordon. “That sounds like an amazing idea. Please let me help you with this. I will do this to atone for all that I’ve done.” said Asmodeus. “Of course. I can use all the help I can get. I hope you’re okay with this since you’re a demon yourself.” said Gordon. “I have no problem with it. As far as I’m concerned, humans are my people now. The Earth is under our protection.” said Asmodeus. “Let’s go home.” said Gordon. And with that, the couple left the beach and returned home to formulate their plan of action. With his identity accepted, Gordon looked forward living the rest of his life as a demon hunter.
Meanwhile at a clinic on Brighton Avenue in Allston, Sophia found herself in a room with a female therapist. “How may we help you Ms. Reyes?” said the therapist. “I was possessed by my mother who turned out to be a demon. She raped me ex-fiancé by having sex with him when she was still in my body. I need help on how to live on with that.” said Sophia. “Okay. When did you first start having this dream?” said the therapist. “Listen to me. It wasn’t a dream. This really happened.” said Sophia. And then on, Sophia wandered from clinic to clinic hoping to find a therapist to listen and believe her story of being used for evil by the sea serpent Leviathan.
