IntroductionA Chapter by johnub4This is the introduction to the book.Inside the third-floor apartment of a three-family
complex of the lower-class community of Hell, lived an overweight female demon
named Striga. Striga lived there with her two sons Alessandro and Amon.
Unfortunately for Striga, she was left to raise her sons alone. She never told
them the truth about what happened to their father. Every day consisted of
Striga feeding her son’s human souls that she’d regularly get donated from a
local supplier. Consuming the souls was easier for Amon than it was for
Alessandro. As he sat at the dinner table, Alessandro could hear the
never-ending screams of humans as their souls were being devoured by his mother
and brother. The human forms resembled African American civilians. The screams
were like torture to Alessandro causing him unable to consume the souls that
were on his plate. Seeing her son not eating filled Striga’s heart with anger,
making her say, “Alessandro. Eat them.” “I won’t.” said the child Alessandro.
“Come on little brother. Just eat them.” said the child Amon. “What did you say
to me?” said Striga as she approached her son. “I won’t eat them. I can’t.”
said Alessandro. “They’re good for you. Eat them.” said Striga as she picked up
Alessandro’s fork, stabbed a lone human soul and thrusted it at her son’s
mouth. “No!!” said Alessandro as he slapped the fork out of his mother’s hand.
“How dare you!” said Striga as she punched her own son in the face. She then
grabbed her son and dragged him down the hallway stairs. Amon laughed as he
watched Striga do what she did. “Where are you taking me?” said Alessandro.
“Shut up.” said Striga as she punched her son repeatedly in the head while
dragging him to her destination. “Please mom. Stop!! That hurts.” said
Alessandro. “You should have thought about that when you defied me.” said
Striga as she made it to the basement. In there was a metallic gate. Striga
then pulled out a key and opened the entrance. Beyond there was a lone
staircase that went deeper underground. Torches on the walls lit up the dark
pathway in unison. Striga continued to venture through pulling her son along
with her. The basement was connected to a catacomb of rooms that had metallic
cells in them. There were silver chains and shackles hanging from the ceiling
inside each one. The walls were covered with blood caked right on them. There
were also racks that contained a variety of weapons on them too. “No stop!!”
said Alessandro. “Too late.” said Striga as she placed Alessandro inside of a
cell and shackled both of his arms. She had even made sure to tighten the
shackles to make sure that Alessandro’s arms wouldn’t slip out of them.
Alessandro screamed as the restraints touched his flesh. It was as if they were
burning his wrists. Striga then turned a crank that caused Alessandro to hang
ten feet off the ground. “Listen mom. Don’t do this. Don’t do this.” said
Alessandro. Striga then walked over to the table near the cell and grabbed a
whip that had silver encrusted spikes at the tip. “Like I said, shut up. Now
it’s time for your punishment.” said Striga as she took off Alessandro’s shirt
stripping him half-naked. “I don’t deserve this!! Somebody please help me!!”
said Alessandro. “Yes, you do! Who do you think is going to help you?” said
Striga as she began to strike her son’s chest with the whip. The first stroke
not only caused her son to scream even more but bleed out. Striga laughed out
loud completely ignoring the pain she caused to her own son. Seeing that made
Striga beat Alessandro repeatedly with the whip until her arm was tired. “Mom!!!
Why?!!!” said Alessandro as he cried his heart out. “Shut up!!” said Striga as
she punched Alessandro again in the face. This time the force from the blow
knocked Alessandro out cold. Striga then left the cell, closed the door, locked
it with a key and left the unconscious Alessandro alone. Alessandro was alone
in his cell for hours until he finally woke up with Striga standing in front of
him with a human soul in her hand. “Look mom. Let me go!!” said Alessandro as
he struggled out of his shackles. “You want to be free then break out.” said
Striga as she shoved the ball of pure spiritual energy into Alessandro’s mouth.
Alessandro tried to spit it out, but he was forced to swallow it. At an
instant, Alessandro’s body began to change due to a wave of strength that
entered his body. Alessandro screamed as a span of wings sprouted from his back
and the chains broke off the ceiling. The boy then removed the burning shackles
off his wrists. The newfound power healed the burns on his limbs. Alessandro
roared and attempted to charge at Striga but was slapped in the face causing
him to land on the floor. “Mom, why did you do this?” said Alessandro. “Because
I am your mother, and you will obey me otherwise this is what will happen when
you don’t.” said Striga. “I hate you.” said Alessandro. Hearing what her son
had said made Striga get on top of Alessandro and punch him in the face until
he went unconscious again. From that moment on Alessandro lived on and ate the
human souls fed to him willingly. In that passage of time, Alessandro vowed to
never rest until he got his wish for revenge on Striga. He did this until his
human body reached adulthood. Striga smiled brightly as she watched Alessandro
obey her like she wanted. “Wow Alessandro you have become a good boy. Eat up.”
said Striga. Alessandro then looked at Striga and said, “Thank you for giving
me this power. Now it’s the time for me to use it.” “What are you even talking
about?” said Striga. “This.” said Alessandro as he transformed into his demon
form and pushed Striga onto the kitchen wall. “What the hell are you doing? Let
me go right now.” said Striga. “Alessandro, you let go of my mother.” said Amon
as he raced toward his younger brother. Unfortunately for Amon, he was punched
so hard in the face he was knocked out unconscious. “Amon!!” said Striga. “Shut
up!! Now it’s time for your punishment.” said Alessandro as he grabbed Striga
by her leg and dragged her down to the basement prison the same way he was
brought down there. Alessandro, however, punched the gate open. “Alessandro.
Let me go right now!!” said Striga. “I said shut up!!” said Alessandro as he
punched Striga right into her stomach and placed her into a cell just like his
mother had done. “Look. I can’t believe you’re going to get back at me for
something I did twenty-five years ago.” said Striga. Alessandro punched Striga
again and said, “What you did to me will never end because it happened a long
time ago. Now strap the shackles on.” “What?” said Striga. Alessandro grabbed a
silver blade sword from the rack, pointed it at Striga’s throat and said, “I
said put the shackles on. Do it or I will chop your head off.” Striga screamed
and said, “Okay.” Alessandro smiled as he watched Striga do as he said. Striga
cried her eyes out in pain as the shackles burned her wrists. Alessandro then
turned the crank to get Striga from at an even higher height off the ground.
The lone demon laughed at the sound of Striga’s cries as he watched her writhe
in pain from the shackles. “That’s good enough.” said Alessandro as he walked
out of the cell, closed the door and brought his new sword with him. “Wait!
Wait! You’re not leaving me here. These shackles hurt.” said Striga. “I sure am,
and you should have thought about that before you did what you did to me. I am
also leaving Hell entirely. I am done with this place, and I am done with you.
I am going to Earth.” said Alessandro as he headed to leave the room. “You honestly
believe that anyone on Earth will accept you. You honestly believe you’ll even
survive. You’re a monster just like I am. That’s all you ever will be. How dare
you think you’re more than that? You will die. Alessandro!!” said Striga.
“Bye.” said Alessandro as he headed over to the door of the room. Alessandro
then smiled and laughed as he watched Striga struggle out of the shackles and closed
the door shut. He then left the apartment complex and headed to an exit for
Earth. As the lone demon got to the doorway, he heard a voice inside his head.
The voice said, “Please go find my daughter and keep her safe.” “Who’s there?”
said Alessandro as he looked around but couldn’t see anyone. “My name is
Matilda. Just so you know.” said Matilda. Alessandro reverted to his human form
the moment he made it to Boston, Massachusetts with the aim of proving Striga
wrong. © 2025 johnub4 |
