Introduction

This is the introduction to the book.

As Michael Wheeler finished up his latest appointment, he received a call from his secretary Selena. “Yes Selena?” said Michael. “Mr. Wheeler, there is someone here to see you.” said Selena. “Can you tell me who it is?” said Michael. “She said she would like you to come out here.” said Selena. “Okay, I will be right there.” said Michael as he hung up the phone. Without thinking, Michael left his office and headed out to the waiting area. In the room there was Selena sitting at her desk. In front of the desk there was an unknown woman dressed in a white cloak. The woman’s face was covered with a hood. “Michael Wheeler.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “Yes. I am him. What can I do for you?” said Michael. “Michael Wheeler. So pure and innocent. Just like he was in the past.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “Yes. What is it that you need? I can’t figure that out if you don’t tell me.” said Michael. “I will. I need you to come with me now.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “I have no idea who you are. I am not going anywhere with you.” said Michael. “I will tell you again. I need you to come with me now. It’s going to be bad for you if I must tell you one more time.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “Listen here. You are in no position to be making threats. Selena, call the police now.” said Michael. “Will do.” said Selena as she reached for the landline phone. “I don’t think so.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. At an instant, the phone magically set on fire causing Selena to scream. She got up and ran to the side of the room as quickly as she could. Michael grabbed the fire extinguisher and put the flame out. “What the f**k is wrong with you?” said Michael. “I did that as a warning. Now you will come with me, or I will burn this entire building down with you both in it.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “I will only go with you if you show me your face.” said Michael. “I’m surprised you don’t know since my minion Malphas spoke of me.” said the unknown woman in the cloak. “Wait. You mean you are…?” said Michael. “Yes. I am the devil. Lady Satan herself.” said Satan as she removed her hood and showed her face. Michael gasped as he got to see the Devil. He looked closely at her and checked out her white hair, eyes and skin. She also wore a black iron crown of seven spikes around her forehead. “I had no idea you’d be this gorgeous.” said Michael. “Michael!!!” said Selena. “But not as gorgeous as you Selena.” said Michael. “Thank you. Now come on.” said Satan as she put out her hand at Michael. “You promise not to hurt me?” said Michael. “I promise with the devil’s blood in me that you will not be harmed.” said Satan. “Don’t believe her Michael. She’ll probably eat you the moment you go with her.” said Selena. Satan looked at Selena and said, “Listen you just shut the f**k up!!!” “Okay, I’ll go.” said Michael as he took Satan’s hand. “Michael no.,” said Selena. “Selena, I will be okay. I will come back for you.” said Michael. “Oh, and don’t even think of using that watch. No matter what timeline you go to. I will find your a*s.” said Satan. “Okay.” said Michael. And with that, Satan and Michael both vanished from the room at an instant. Selena couldn’t do anything but cry, knowing that her husband was taken from her.
