TILL WE MEET AGAIN.......A POEM FOR MY FATHER

you were always there

watching patiently

with your arms open to catch me

when the world gave out

 

now i have no one

and the walls here are

closing smaller and smaller

around me till i can't breathe

 

then i catch myself

from falling and open my eyes

and look around but im still alone

so the tears fall

 

why did you go

and leave me with nothing

alone and bleeding weighted

and breathless to suffer

 

so now i wait patiently

to see if your still watching

to catch me from falling

from where ever you are

i wish he was still here for you. it's so sad that he had to go so unnexpectedley. i hope you continue to keep writing.
