It started at the Sea

free verse poem =) just a little something i did out of pure boredom and inspiration(kinda-sorta)

It started at the Sea

when i caught you looking at me

your eyes seem like they can look straight through me

and see the truth

and i get lost in their gaze

the music is blaring but i can hear nothing but my heartbeat

sure that it is loud enough for you to hear

this thought makes me blush

i look away quickly, embarrased

when i look up, your gone

my heart drops

surley, i think, you were not looking at me

all some horrible mistake

but then

you're beside me

i jump and you laugh

you smile and for a second, my heart stops

its time to leave

we catch each others eyes and I smile timidly

I drive

you call shot gun

it all started at the Sea
