Pleasant Octobers

This is my first tanka (Japanese poem, like a haiku but with more syllables.) I chose to write it about my favorite season.

Fresh autumn apples

Pumpkin patches abound

Leaves changing colors

Crisp cool breezes in the air

Cheers!  A new season is here

Oooh, me too!! Used to go every year and it was so much fun. I'm excited for carving pumpkins, hay rides and cooking with lots of yummy fresh ingredients! :)
