Without Faith

About the necessity of faith in our lives.

Without faith Daniel would not have been freed

But because he had faith as a mustard seed

And because he was following an honest creed

God said, “On Daniel the lions cannot feed.”

 

Faith is not a false belief

For faith plus prayer equals relief

Faith is not an illusion, mirage or dream

It is more powerful than it may seem.

 

Satan attempts to hinder with his lies

But no matter how hard he tries

I simply look into Jesus’ eyes

And between us He renews the ties.

 

As we walk through this life

We pass through tribulations and strife

Remember, as this earth we trod

Without faith it is impossible to please God.
