I've gotten really good
At not letting myself feel Sailing through this life Surrounded by a charade Of my own making My own beautiful subtle lie Hold me while you can For soon you will shatter In the view of my dry eyes My hungry well You will fall in pieces Around my feet as I shed Your skin Stepping over your holds Into a collapsing reality I've felt this awakening A great breaking away The winds speak of this glorious time The birds remind me that I am needed The dawn shows to me, this is why I'm here
