overflowing

love poem I wrote themed on water

calm and clear
is my love for you
it's just like water
no matter what we'll flow right through

to the ocean called love
the current calmly carries us
I will flow with it
without the slightest fuss

like any body of water
my heart has flooded,it has filled
with overpowering love
a dam I refuse to build

sometimes there are rapids
of exitement
don't fight them, or swim with them
just float and let it carry us, what happens is meant

I am overflowing
with feelings for you
it won't ever evaporate
because I love you, truly I do
