If it weren't for you

Darkness was consuming me

and trapping my heart

getting me ready

to fall apart

 

Killing all hope

making me want to give in

I thought I was helpless

I didn't think I could win

 

but you came into my life

and lit a fire bright

which scared the darkness

amazed at such a sight

 

you are my world

my life, my everything

I'm lucky to have you

for you I'd do anything

 

If it wasn't for you

I might not be here right now

you saved me

somehow...
