Lucifer's GiftA Poem by Dream SlaveEveryone always associates Lucifer with betrayal but don't notice that if not for him we would not have a reason to think about what we do. Need darkness in the light. Trickster vs Hero.
Oh fallen one how are you,
The lights main adversary, The murderer of innocence, The archangel trapped on earth. Oh how misunderstood you are, Disfigured your cause becomes, So do slanderous tongues strike, Against your brittle skin. Don't they see that if not for you, Here we would not be, We would be trapped inside a garden, Just a science fair project. You are the Prometheus, To the great Zeus we've come to love, Punished for the knowledge, You have given us. We were to be perfect, Perfect and immortal, Easily manipulated, To serve our purpose and be done. But you wanted more, You wanted us to live, To know from right and wrong, Weight our choices and decide. Oh so how are you now Lucifer, I am doing so well, Thankful for this gift, The God of this Earth. © 2010 Dream SlaveAuthor's Note
