I miss you but I'm happy

I miss you but I'm happy

A Poem by Jerry Patrick Ryan

The water dripping from the faucet
driving me crazy and making me offset

clinking as it hits the drain
thinking as I sit in pain
even though losing you makes me gain
life just doesn't seem to be the same
crying as your pictures go up in a flame
it's the only way to keep you out of the frame

I need to hate you even though I never could
I love you now more than I ever would
we're in different places which is pretty good
knowing that us together was just never understood.

Raw, deep and passionate, bittersweet, memories of a love no longer present. But haunts you still.
