A dream of love

I live the life of the little mermaid

every step I take I feel it with each heel

Sometimes fairy tales dont end up in the happiest deal

There are lessons to learn and one day the burn will fade

Until then I will keep flying away

All the bitterness, sadness and madness I release

We had a beautiful dream

Yet we were just asleep

Escaping the mundane with something sweet

Just like everything on this earth it is always borrowed

I prayed for a more pleasant tomorrow

Yet parting will always be sweet sorrow

We had this time

There was no real love in the line

I see it now

Mistakes are made

we muddle through the clouds

Trying to find something real in the plans we make

I wont keep this heartache

Dunkin donut coffee got me wake

As I walk the path of the little mermaid

I went to denmark I saw her on the copenhagen bay

I was shocked at the people groping something made out of stone, was that me not so long ago

As she looks forlorn longing for that love which can only come from a dream home

Each step is filled with pain

As I live the life of the little mermaid

Sitting on the shore waiting for her prince forever more

I threw it all away to open the forbidden door

Disguised as love

an angel from above

just a dream of love...
