The Twilight Zone

The Twilight Zone

A Poem by butterfly

I found the twilight zone
Its just him and me alone
i love that no one knows
Except you and me
The ones reading my poetry
Its always just a ride home for me
Yet when I am with him I feel something
In the end its nothing
Just a vibe in my mind
He said she yelled at him when he came home late
He tells her not to yell at him
He brought it up
He said I asked the question
Its a sin only she in the end wins
He says he feels abused
I tell him to forget me
Its something he says he can never do
Sweet lies and sweet treats, a sweet kiss
someone there to say its you i miss
Its a fucked up play
What we do isn't safe
Why do I stay?
Is it love
No matter how I try I can't escape
Its strange
I never knew I would grow up this way
I fell in to the twilight zone
Its my favorite place
Sitting on his lap
With his mouth on mine
I know its not right
i can't reroute the map
I hope years from now I wont be the victim of karma's bite
He feels like a paradise sometimes we dont even touch
I feel like most of the time its in my mind
i believed deep down God brought us together
This can't just be a case of foolish lovers
its my heart hungry for the other side
I followed my heart
i followed the lust
mortal nature causes rust
I hear the advice
This thing isn't nice
I can't be controlled
I do what I like
Its just between him and me alone inside the twilight zone

I felt the grip here. Is the balance of power shifting, I ask myself. You are hooked dear poet.
