A Stranger LifeA Poem by butterflyI long to be free From all that depresses me If one is too busy there is no need to be unhappy My kiss dont make him stay why are lovers treated so strange he is the wind that blows through the day A mere shadow and I always know Yet he breathed life in my Casper hearted ghost Why is it this way? Life can be cruel, life is sunshine and gray I feel like a fool why are these feelings made I guess we are nothing why is human nature this way I have decided to give the good guy a chance I feel it wont do a thing I cant seem to forget our ill fated romance He goes to Alabama texts i wont forget your souvenir when all i want is him here i dont want to miss him but this feeling wont disappear Yet he is still busy the three days before he goes He is a mere shadow and I always know Make me forget I gave love and light There is nothing to regret I pretend I am angel I am mere mortal He was in my path I just couldn't see The ugly truth is even when i say goodbye life depresses me i try to focus on the new Something has me holding on to you yet you aren't here you just get too busy for me dear its nothing new so why waste this time and be sad over you because human nature makes us feel the things we do so i write it on the page As I pray Sweet God make it all okay. i long to be free from all this misery yet so many people scream why mistakes were made mistakes will be here always how can i see straight i am only human why can't you love me in the end what good will it do there is no trust how can we make love to someone just for the fun why separate the things that matter oh its hard tonight as i watch all my dreams scatter will i still get to kiss my mad hatter i try to find better all i want is you were you real or just the figment of a fake love letter he is just the wind that blows a mere shadow and I know yet my heart is doomed to be this hollow ghost waiting for you to enter waiting for just a drop of paradise in a stranger life
