whispers of the soulA Poem by butterflyI dont understand all the sad Why do you come to me send me all your confusing texts if it was sex why cast this spellbinding net why tell me i am the one you cant forget yet you cant leave the past behind its still your present i talk to my manger she tells me her husband hasn't touched her in years why do we make each other cry endless tears i will not break by you i break the chain I do we just aren't a dream come true just a haunting of christmas past I still havent found my dream at last As the clock strikes midnight your shadow leaves fast its the same old thing you gave me passion and pain yet the one who abuses you wears your diamond ring i am done understanding my mistake was loving you you dont want me to block he doesnt want me to stop he just wants me in his secret box i break it down where are the good men now i search the earth all i see are the good men in disguise leaving all the wives and the single ladies hurt i pray for better in the new year please if its all the same forget me dear its the best thing you can do to stay would just keep my heart beaten up by you God still lets me come to heal there is a foolishness humans are destined to feel to learn the lesson hopefully one day God will put the healing balm that can only be found in heaven whispers of the soul reveal many left all alone old acquaintance its you I forgot My heart wont stay trapped by your secret box I know he is lost its no excuse what was my reason for loving you i didnt know i guess i was bored but the new year is coming its time to say no more release these whispers of the soul God reminds me I am whole Sad you were the same as the others You know I tried but you never did bother so forget me like we never knew each other you say you are thankful for what we shared you were going to midnight mass for confession another love kernel to confuse me why do you abuse me why did i love you the reasons are never known I just release it all with these final whispers of the soul
