Walking under new 2022 Oakland sun

Feeling His love

Under new blue skies

He wiped the tears from my eyes

As me and Koa hike

On the first day of a new year

I am stronger in my solitude here

Why am I single

Because my love dont love me

i am not sad

I am not mad

For love i am glad to give all that i AM

Make no mistake

i am no door mat

We knew what he came for

Something inside kept giving more

In my face i could not ignore

Let all that we do be in love

I am no saint i am a sinner

But He woke me up

As a beginner

Walking under new Oakland sun

In this new 2022 chapter His love goes on

Walking with me and Koa

After all the rain He washed away the pain

We cross over

To a brand new start

with a new golden shining heart bright as the sun

Thats how great is HIS love

Shining on down from up above

In 2022 with the only love that is true

i am grateful I believe in you
