Serenity and BlistersA Poem by butterflyLoneliness and solitude are my sisters They walk with me through the serenity and blisters Slowly my gaze finds me in a brilliant hour filled with stories for a tower I caress their spines, I caress the fabric of laces entwined with verses and prose Description and adventures are gardens of flowers and a rose Living different lives in stairs that go up and down Line the room all around swim the starless sea Emerge myself in the invisible circus With the rules of magic tucked in I feel myself with purpose I can be the princess on a pirate ship A pretty guardian at your service The universe is transformed All at once the reality is brighter then the storm In my eyes are delight and imagination taking flight I never need a passport I never need to pack my bags I can still travel the world These is what its like to be a book worm Now I am a writer in the room and its absurd Its cool, even poets life are a jewel and sometimes a fool In the end I think its ok to break the rule I needed to taste you I needed to float in heavenly view I needed to be embraced by you Some get less then 15 minutes of bliss Some gets guns and bombs instead of a kiss Some gets bruised beaten black and blue tossed in the ocean left for dead on the campground some are so rich they can't cut their cucumber Some are so small minded but cute like pooh bear Full of hunny but too sweet to ever be a bummer In end we need to revise life we can't settle for slavery We can't settle for this world of homelessness, surge pricing, gun shots slicing our kids life short Earth needs a little more bravery We must revise so that love and peace are what drives and governs Our ash can still be turned to beauty in the morn No matter who abuses us we can still kill with kindness heal the blindness like angels from above by the healing powers of love.
