i dont want to separate from you Lord

Though like the wild child I always run and fly

To whatever ignites

The thrilling freedom He has given me hasn't always be an appreciated gift

Yet now I see with all this news my life has its own lift

I belong to nobody and nobody belongs to me

I am free

I can be on the couch, lie on the street

I can drive the car or walk however far

the choice is mine and its divine

which is why we must not surrender

make them remember especially on July 4 what is important at the core

what is life when its forced

maybe all of us here were meant to be in this destiny

we can be free.

deep in pains

due to traditions and politicians

we are all destined for mistakes

God showed us mercy I can do the same for me and you

Maybe if we let it be like we were told to we would see more of His truth

clear as day in every way without a bible or kindle

we would know if we just stop and listen

His love through the darkest day will forever glisten

Through Him our life is a shared destiny

God set us free we should do the same despite the laws

because loving one another is how we correct our flaws
