Maybe Tomorrow We Will Feel The Sunlight

Maybe Tomorrow We Will Feel The Sunlight

A Poem by butterfly

Earth must never separate from you Lord
evil finds her way to our door
how can we recognize what is right
everyone has their own voice and mind
all I can do is be free and fly
like a butterfly out of her cocoon
earth life is so blue
the weather is grey and cold
i have no one to hold
my lover is not that brave or bold
he didnt like my bestfriend thinks he is an a*****e
yet his life is so complicated but what does it do me to wish him to hell
it doesnt fix this bad spell
All I can do is shake it off and say oh well
let it be
because like a butterfly I am free
now SCOTUS is bizarre the politicians get infected with wicked hearts
they could have judged wiser at the start
they drove this dark
now they run to hide in their house
shivering like a scared mouse
the protesters are so loud
louder than the fireworks now
they go on and on in my neighborhood
why does it entertain them good
when it pollutes the air and burns their body
knowing dogs are terrorized and smoke fills the sky
its interesting what people have to do to survive
i just want to be on a sugar high
taste the divine life
but from this too I could die
all that keeps me going
are the words I hear that say be free butterfly
fly to the sky
leave it all the behind
maybe tomorrow we will feel the sunlight.
