Sweet Escape

I blocked him again

In this storm of love and bitterness the will of the bitter makes me crave something new

I just need time to get over the loss of the dude

I am tired of the lies in the end

This is what it is my friend

My love transcends and there are no regrets

The lessons are learned

Kiss the flame and enjoy the burn

Like the phoenix our broken hearts will be born again

We can come back from the point of no return

He will live on in his double life

I excite at the thoughts of living on the other side

Finally crossing over after the high tide

I wanted him for life

Sadly we aren't fated this time

We were on the same path

Stumbled together in stormy weather

Loneliness and the dark guided our heart

A bond formed shelter in the rain

Yet what is the bond that remains

He was never going to stay

He just kind of stayed

It isnt enough

I need a man brave enough to go all the way

Hopefully I will find him one day

Till then I fly in to sweet escape
