His love lights the world

Come what may

A love so divine is the treasured pearl.

My lover is my pumpkin spice latte

As autumn season sheds my leaves of shade

I remember the love that was made

I keep what remains

As all the rest falls away

I delight in the freedom breath

I will walk with it till my day of death

Hopefully all will be forgiven

I see now I acted like foolish children

On an assignment that wasn't mine

Distracted by the hazel eyes that shined like moonlight

I enjoyed what I find

I live before I die

I can live without you by my side

I am grateful even for this limited time

As i sip my pumpkin spice latte

all the rest falls away

enjoying the day.
