So hard to forget

So hard to forget

A Poem by butterfly

The earth is damp and wet
The memories of us are so hard to forget
The weather is so cold
Without someone to hold
Keep your loved ones close
What is worse
When what you hold is just an evil curse
Why did you vex me
Why did you leave me lonely
You call me the best
Throw me out like garbage
Why say what you say
When everything is damp and gray
Meaningless smoke fills the air
No more hope lives there
Please love dont forget me
Dont lock me in this lonely infinity
Spending time with Enola
She reminds me I dont need another's company
Spelled backwards it means alone
We are fine on our own
In the grey yellow shine of the moon
I leave the trail for you
come find me love
in this earth so damp and wet
Keep giving me memories that are so hard to forget.

"In the grey yellow shine of the moon

I loved these lines. they pretty much said it all for me. Really nicely done, a little sad, a little lonely but beautifully written
