This eternal flame is burned

I swim to safety

Yet everything aches in me

I believed in something not real

We made love and he had to live to go pick up his pizza

Embarrassed is all i have left to feel

As he lacks understanding

I blocked him for life and I dont look back

Yet he has to run and go pick up a pizza timed for to be done the same time as we were done

He thinks he looks cool

He perpetually decided to play the fool

There is nothing I can do for him

We are nothing but sin

With games to play on

No conscience

No empathy

Beautiful but empty

I pray for thee

That God will still make you remember the love that stays on

Yet I walk on at last in peace and free.
