Push the darkness aside

Push the darkness aside

A Poem by butterfly

Push the darkness aside
The weeping willow sits in the night
Can you hear its cry
As a broken winged butterfly searches for solace in its leaves
A path is still lit up with moonbeams
I see we aren't made for each other after all
He never heard me call
he wouldnt still be with her
he would be serious with me
Instead the love I thought was real
Is just a figment of the imagination
I need to heal
from the fantasy and fascination
I try to search a new
He looked good with his chiseled muscle and sun glass
When I went closer in the profile Alas!
I didnt find him cute
Is the point of searching still good
Here the connection we already lose
Still I have to keep on searching online
As this weeping willow sits in the dark night
Can you hear her cry
Trying to push the darkness aside.
