A Losing GAME

A Losing GAME

A Poem by butterfly

I guess he was just playing with my affection
I was reading to much in this foolish intention
I saw the colors of love
Heard the violins and the angels from above
Only to wake up and find myself still standing on the ground
Everyone has left now
Including him
He goes to Manteca with her as a caretaker
All along he was just some damn heartbreaker
Maybe this is why God doesnt let us be together
Yet he asked to give me a ride
i guess he is just a friend who thinks of me sometimes
I will do the same
I played my last card in a losing game.
