My Own Song

If you forget me just like that

I will be sad but I wont look back

You proved your last chance

There was no more romance

You were never leaving her

One day you will still be sleeping beside her

whispering my name

over ashes and flames

as the pain burns on and on forever strong

I will have learned my lessons from the right and the wrong

i will still be flying merrily  along to my own song
