There Never Was a You

There Never Was a You

A Poem by butterfly

What I miss is the image of you
The dream that didn't come true
The kiss from this
The hugs from this
The love if any was made from a now realized fake bliss
But now they got me doubting if it ever exist
The fairy tale I touched and pressed my cheek to
Only to find out there was never a you
This what I cry for
This is what hurts when I must block the door
This is what I miss  in the boy I adored
Why my heart doesn't understand
The foolish game between women and man
What goes on between human and human
Animals rarely play
I cry because it must have been a game since the first day
Be careful humans what you do , what you say
These kinds of scars are hard to hide away
Its the image of you
That made me feel blue
Realizing there never was a you
There never was a love that was true
No love at all from you
For love doesn't manipulate
Make one feeling black and blue
Everyone warned me to stay away
It couldn't be tamed
I was bound by the light of our passionate flame
Enjoying the burn
Just like Jon Snow
Past the point of no return
Feeling the wrath of dragon burn
I didn't know anything
I thought there was something
Pressed my cheek to the fairy tale dream that never came true
Realizing there never was a you.
