I dont know what happened on the last date

He found his way to a taste test

It wasn't terrible it wasn't the best

i realized I love my married man but he isn't my soul mate

Not when bound to another

I am just walking the trail of a single lover

I would be more energized to be asked what am i reading

this would send us both in to orgasmic breathing

I think there was something wrong how we raised the men

always letting them do whatever they can

yet telling me I am americanized

Because I dont dream of being a house wife

I am too modern because I live an independent life

i am looking for a partner

not someone to save me

we should be saving each other

carrying each other

one half of the circle becoming whole

not one higher

all these dudes with their bullshit theories make me tired

My ex drove me to the ice cream date with my new next

is that some s**t right there, of all this i am aware

he held my hand the whole way

asked me for a kiss

now he says he is the ex boyfriend also said i hope its a crummy date in the end

i am so jealous

i tell him then divorce your wife

stay with me for life

he say its not easy

its not like i am leaving

i tell you again these bullshit theories make me tired

yet in that other guys arms

i realized he is the one i desire

i fall for his charms

in the cold dark night he was always keeping me warm

but what can i do

destiny has me orbiting around you

i realize while with the new

i was thinking of him

seeing his body

makes me think

i am not as healed as i pretend to be

why does this love life stink

if i dont have him i dont want anybody touching me

i just tried to get away in someone else's arms

not realizing its him still holding me from the start

i can only pray

in this unending dark

its his spark

pulling me through

this is when i need you

this is when i see you.

i dont mean to be a bother

i just discover

Sounds like a tough deal to me. At least a big part of it does. Everyone has different feelings about this type of thing, I was bounced around a bit in your poem but the ending seemed to make sense.
