Looking for Better Educated Worlds

Some goodbye's are long

some goodbye's are fast

Some we dance to like the sweetest song

Some we want to kick away like the sand

this is how I feel about you new friend

Its like all of me that you met is not the person I want to be

I am not a house wife

I am glad to be Americanized

Over there in Iran they poison the girls

Just for trying to find better educated worlds

I pray for them. I pray God will send help

Protect all those innocent

I wish I could do more

it breaks my heart

we focus on trivial things

the San Francisco lightings

the mountain swiss logo on toblerone

meanwhile the world is on fire

with so many humans without a home

still the mindless distractions grow higher

russia bombing up ukraine

all of these bad news falling like endless rain

In the end its me not you

i thought by sexing the new I would be over the other dude

Funny thing is I am over him

He just touches me better

He hugs me gentler

he was able to wait 400 days

while on date 2 so much complaint

i dont know about tomorrow

i can only figure things out today

it doesnt look like this place is safe

so dear new friend i will fly away

find myself enjoying the lavender haze

as I stay high

to get him off my mind

to forget i missing him all the time

what i miss is the dream

the one he wants to be

but is not now really

i told him i didnt want to meet somebody

I only want you

there he goes doing his uber

trying to pay his bills

our timing isn't super

i just pray our love will still be there still

entwined together or not

just lost in the fog of time

till God aligns the sun and the moon

for one endless sunny afternoon

i felt coerced before being ready

I just need my own moments to be steady

So dear new friend i will fly away

enjoying the lavender haze of my own space

away from all this praying for those Iranian girls

looking for better educated worlds

I agree education is everything. I taught my three daughters. Never allow anyone to pay your bills. Education and more education. Don't depend on another.
